Wes Hyde is a diverse-works artist with a passion for life.
Having a wide range of interests, experiences and art philosophies, he is at home with a
variety of subjects and styles of painting.
For three years Wes traveled almost non-stop across the United States and Canada.
This constant momentum and diversity became an inspiration for his painting.
Wes now resides in Colorado with his wife Nicole, also an artist. He is the Founder and
Executive Director of Nomadas del Arte, a Founding & Signature Member of Plein Air Artists
Colorado, a Signature Member of the Society of Master Impressionists, and is represented
by several galleries across the US. He works daily in his studio or on location, and keeps a
road atlas handy… just in case.
Wes' work has been included in many important shows and exhibitions, including Oil Painters
of America national and regional, Birds in Art, Salon International, Society of Master Impressionists, The Outdoor Painters
Society, the Colorado Governor's Invitational Show, and American Art In Miniature at the Gilcrease Museum.
